Hostel accommodation, camping and caravan sites are all available at Plunkett Orchards. Backpackers buy food at the local supermarket and prepare their own meals in the communal kitchens.
Facilities include clean showers and toilets, communal kitchen (including fridges, ovens, cooktops, microwaves, crockery, cutlery, saucepans), BBQ area, TV room, laundry with coin-operated washing machines and wireless internet access.
Hostel
The backpacker hostel was opened in February 2004. It is clean, comfortable and among the best budget accommodation available in the area.
The
rooms are shared and can house up to 6 people. Beds are single bunks and
bathrooms are shared. All rooms are air-conditioned at night.Bedding is not provided - people need to supply their own sheets and sleeping bag.
Camping
Sites with and without power are available for camping. Campers have access to all amenities.
Caravans
Sites with and without power are available for caravans. Caravans have access to all amenities.
Huts
There are a limited number of 2 single bed huts available.
