Fruit grading, packing and
cool storage facilities on-site at Plunkett Orchards enables the control of
fruit quality from tree to market.
Fruit is despatched to local and export
fresh markets throughout Asia, U.K. and Canada, and to local processing
facilities for canning and juicing.
Coolstorage rooms with a total capacity of
5250 bins were built between 1992 and 1997 for conventional and
controlled-atmosphere fruit storage. |
